Romans 8:38 - 39(NIV)

38. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39. Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Beloved, life happens to all of us. Unexpected things sometimes even horrible things happen in life. Our response to life when things don’t go as planned, or even when things go terribly wrong should not be to blame ourselves and feel guilty. Neither should our response to life’s changes be to question the faithfulness and character of God.

Jesus told us that the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike, meaning that a change in circumstances can happen to all of us. However, the problem comes when we choose to lose our perspective of who God is in the process. God wants us to love Him and enjoy His fellowship. He never stops loving us. We can face any change in circumstance better if we include the Lord in the problem, instead of blaming Him for the problem.

Try this: The next time you face sudden changes pray, “Lord, help me to stick with You through this and please cause these changes to work together for good.”

Nothing can separate us from God’s love so we shouldn’t separate ourselves from Him.

God bless you is my prayer!!!
