Luke 11:1-4 (KJV)

Jesus’ Teaching on Prayer

1. And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3. Give us day by day our daily bread.
4. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

We should, in all our devotions, with an eye of faith look heavenward, and view the God we pray to as our Father in heaven, that we may make the upper world more familiar to us, and may ourselves become better prepared for the future state.

In your prayer concentrate on the Kingdom, present and future.

The present kingdom representing your spiritual existence, a spiritual kingdom, the place that we enter in when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts.

Kingdom future, a physical place we as Christians hope and desire to be translated into in the future. Our Heavenly home.

Be blessed in all you do!!
