Matthew 6:3 (NIV)

3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

I believe most people appreciate words of gratitude or thank you cards, or even credit for doing for others. However there is something to be said about anonymity, it must be a good way of giving because Jesus endorsed it.

Imagine a world in which we all gave generously and selflessly. In chapter Matthew 6, Jesus mentioned secret giving. He said, “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,”

Realistically, we can’t always give anonymously. But our giving should always be marked with the same spirit of selfless humility and God-directed charity.

Give as it was given to you in your time of need, love as the Master loved you:

Be blessed in all you do!!
