Luke 6:27-28 (KJV)

27. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Have you ever been mistreated or hated? Did it make you want to retaliate? That is a natural reaction. Jesus was our model as how every believer should respond to difficult people. We are to love our enemies, benefit difficult people by doing good to them, blessing them, and praying for them.

The reality is, we cannot always control how others treat us, but we can control how we respond to them.

Jesus loves us unconditionally, although we do not deserve His love. We do not deserve His goodness, yet He continues to be good to us, we do not deserve His blessings, yet He showers us with one blessing after another.

Jesus asks us to follow his example by loving our enemies, Grant them the same respect and rights as you desire for yourself.

Be blessed in all you do!!
