John 8:36 (KJV)

16.If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Many in our society today are clueless about what freedom is. Many think that freedom means, they are free to do whatever they want – whenever they want, some even think that freedom means - you can do whatever you want behind closed doors or do whatever it takes to get a ahead.

The Gospel is a message of freedom. It is a message of good news for the poor; freedom for the prisoners; sight for the blind and of release for the oppressed. And it is a message that is still needed today, because far too many are still not free.

But through Christ the lost sinner is set free, he has been set FREE from the burden of do whatever it takes. He has been set free, he has gained value, he has worth and he is accepted, just as he is. Christ died for him, Christ loves him just as he is, for he is now under grace, and he has nothing to prove to anyone - he is accepted by the one who matters most, Jesus Christ.

Don’t allow sin to control you, enslave you, dominate you, or dictate your actions. Jesus will free you from it all, opening the door for you to become the person God has fashioned you to be.

Be blessed in all you do!!
