James 1:19-20 (KJV)

19. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Think about how much trouble we could avoid if we would learned to listen, really listen, not just talking, before we speak.

“we must be slow to speak, , and slow to become angry,” according to James 1:19. We are supposed to be quick to listen.

In our rush to meet life’s goals and deadlines, we should remember to speed up our listening and to slow down our tempers and our tongues.

When you’re tempted to lose patience with another, think about how patient God has been with you.

Be Blessed In All You Do!
