Psalm 9:9 (KJV)
9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
When we experience tragedy, we sometimes wonder about God’s goodness. But He never promised bad things won’t happen to us, but he does promise to be “our refuge and strength” (PSALMS 46:1).
God is good no matter what suffering you may be experiencing. Even for those times that you don’t understand, rejoice in the Lord.
God sometimes test our faith so we may trust His faithfulness.
