James 5:13 (KJV)

13a. “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.”

Trouble will come …prayer helps. Prayer changes things, changes perspectives, changes people and even more importantly prayer changes you.

When you pray, regardless of how stressed, depressed or just plain messed up you are, somehow your spirit begins to calm down and be at peace.

Before you pray - you may feel powerless, helpless and insecure. But when you pray - you are declaring that though you are powerless, helpless and insecure, yet you serve the God who has all power … you serve The God who helps and empowers you. When you pray you are declaring that God is your God and your God is good!

So pray, beloved. Yes, there will be trouble but the beginning to the end of your trouble is prayer!

God bless you … is my prayer!
