Genesis 12:1(KJV)

1.Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Beloved, whenever you feel as though you don’t understand what God is doing and/or allowing in your life you have to “consider the Source”, you have to “Trust God”, you have to “Be Obedient” and then you have to “believe that God is leading you”.

God told Abraham to leave everything he knew; everything he was familiar with and to enter into the unfamiliar. God told him to go into a land which he will show him which meant Abraham didn’t know where he was going; He only had the instruction of the Lord to depend on. Abraham could have easily said, “God, where will I go; what will I eat and drink”, but he didn’t. He chose to trust God and be obedient. That’s what we must learn to do.

“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going” (Hebrews 11:8).

As much as we would like God to give us the “what when where and how” upfront, God does not operate like that. Sometimes, God will place you in a satiation where you have to trust Him and He’ll give you piece by piece as you obey and trust Him.

Abraham believed God and obeyed because He trusted that God would lead him to where God wanted him to be. Abraham believed God and because of his faith God counted Abraham’s faith and obedience as righteusness.

Beloved, God knows when you have a hard time understanding what He is doing. He simply wants you to trust Him and allow Him to lead you through the tough stuff so that you can get to the good stuff.

Whatever it is that you are going through in your life right now, I encourage you to trust God, even when you don’t understand what’s happening in your life.

You may not understand your life issues right now and things might look shaky but “Consider The Source”, “Trust In The Lord”, “Be Obedient” and “Allow God To Lead You”. You will end up better, greater and more blessed than you ever thought you could be.

That’s the kind of God we serve!

God bless you is my prayer!
