Isaiah 63:16(NIV)

16. But You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; You, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is Your Name.

How we feel about our biological or earthly father is usually based on our experiences with him from the past. Those feelings may range from love and affirmation to rejection and abandonment.

According to the Scripture, God’s chosen people generally understand that God is be our real Father and as our Father, God guides us, provides for us, loves us, enjoys fellowship with us, and is glorified through us.

Therefore, beloved, allow your Heavenly Father to develop the loving, fatherly relationship with you that you need and that He is seeking, and enjoy it for all eternity.

Pursue a deeper relationship with Him. Whatever your past experience with your earthly father may be, ask the Holy Spirit to work out that need for a father that we all have and to heal and fill that place with God, our true Father.

God bless you is my prayer!
